The XR Competition at the Kaohsiung Film Festival stands as a prominent platform for XR competitions worldwide. Each year, it awards four major prizes: the XR Golden Fireball Award, the XR Immersive Experience Award, the VR360 Narrative Award, and the XR Jury Special Award.

In 2024, the XR Competition is pleased to invite a group of interdisciplinary experts, known as the "XR Spark International Competition Observer," who possess professional insights from outside the XR field to participate in the selection of XR works.

Additionally, we are introducing two new awards: the "XR Spark Innovation Experience Award" (prize of USD 1,000) and the "XR Spark Special Recognition Award" (prize of USD 1,000). These awards aim not only to evaluate XR technology but also to recognize and affirm the innovation and breakthroughs of creators from various perspectives.
