Points Offset Discounts
1. Culture Points and OPENTIX points may only be used for online ticket purchases.
2. Culture Points and OPENTIX points may be used at the same time. If the purchase allows the use of Culture Points, please use Culture Points first before OPENTIX points.
3. When refunding a ticket purchase that used Culture Points and/or OPENTIX points, the system will first return the Culture Points used in full, then deduct the refund handling fee, then refund the OPENTIX points used, before refunding the remaining balance.
4 .When refunding a ticket purchase (including for cancellations or changes), if the Culture Points or OPENTIX points used in the purchase have since expired, the points cannot be refunded and the expiry date cannot be extended.

TICKET COLLECTION
Please refer to the ticket collection instructions below in accordance with the collection method selected at checkout.

E-ticket
E-tickets may be accessed via the OPENTIX App or official website. After completing ticket purchase, the E-ticket will automatically appear in the “Ticket Box” (App: Located in the center at the bottom. Website: After logging in, click on the “Tickets” icon in the top right corner).

Paper ticket
1. Please collect paper tickets prior to the screening. Ticket collection is not available at the Kaohsiung Film Archive, Neiwei Arts Center, VR Film Lab, or KFF ticket counters.
2. Service Locations

• No ticket collection service fee will be charged.
• To collect your tickets, please provide staff with your Membership No. (phone no.) and Ticket Collection Code, or your Membership No. (phone number) and the credit card used to make the purchase.

3. Convenience Stores

• Enter your Membership No. (phone no.) and Ticket Collection Code on the electronic kiosk machine. Print out the Ticket Collection Receipt and exchange it for your tickets at the counter within 10 minutes.
• A ticket collection fee of NT$10 will be charged per ticket (subject to change in accordance with convenient store policy).
• Convenience store collection is limited to 8 tickets per purchase order and cannot be split into separate collections. Please collect purchase orders in excess of 8 tickets from a Distribution Point.
• The ticket collection fee is not refundable in the event of screening cancellation or postponement if the ticket has already been collected.

4. Domestic Registered Mail

• A postage service fee of NT$50 will be charged for each purchase order. Postage fees are charged separately for each purchase order.
• To ensure tickets arrive in time, the “Domestic Mail” option will not appear in your shopping cart when purchasing tickets for sessions within 10 days of the screening date.
• The postage service fee is not refundable in the event of screening cancellation or postponement unless the tickets have not yet been mailed.
• The ATM transfer payment option is not available for the Domestic Registered Mail collection method.

REFUNDING / EXCHANGING TICKETS
1. Ticket “exchanges” are regarded as “refunds”. If you would like to change your session, please refer to the refund process set out below. Tickets marked as “non-refundable” cannot be refunded.
2. Refund requests must be received at least 1 day before the scheduled session time. A processing fee of 10% of the face value of the ticket will be charged for each ticket. Refund requests received after the deadline will not be accepted.
Purchase orders paid by credit card will be refunded into the original credit card. Purchase orders paid with cash or ATM transfer will be refunded in cash.
   ※ Certain programmes have different refund deadlines. Please refer to the Viewing Information section for more details.
3. Distribution Points do not provide refund services.
4. E-ticket(s) or uncollected paper ticket(s)

• Please use the OPENTIX online cancellation function. Access your order records in the member section and choose your purchase order. Click “Cancel order” and tick the session(s) you would like to cancel. For ticket packages or if the online cancellation function is unavailable, please visit the OPENTIX refund page  and select option 1, and fill out the purchase order details to make a refund request.

※ The online cancellation function is unavailable daily from 23:30 to 00:00 for system settlement. Please be aware of the refund deadline and cancel in advance.
※ For refunds of E-tickets purchased with cash, please visit an OPENTIX Service Center in Taipei, Taichung, Tainan, or Kaohsiung.

5. Paper ticket(s) already collected or paid with cash

• Over the counter: Please bring your ticket(s) to an OPENTIX Service Center in Taipei, Taichung, Tainan, or Kaohsiung.
• On-site: 9/22 (Sun) ~ 10/11 (Fri) Kaohsiung Film Archive, Neiwei Arts Center 10/12 (Sat) ~ 10/27 (Sun) KFF ticket counters
• Mail: Please mail the ticket(s) via registered post before the refund deadline (based on the postmark) to OPENTIX Refund
• Department, No, 21-1 Zhongshan S. Road, Zhongzheng District, Taipei City 10012. For cash purchases, please be sure to include a copy of your bank passbook and contact information for refund purposes.
  ※Reminder: Please make a record of the ticket purchase order number (e.g., 202101220000123-1) in order to track your refund status.

6. ATM transfer

• Your bank may charge a transfer fee for ATM transfer purchases. In the event of a ticket refund (including exchanges, replacements, cancellations, and changes to the programme), the transfer fee cannot be refunded.
• Collected paper ticket(s): Please visit an OPENTIX Service Center, or mail the ticket(s), a photocopy of your bank passbook, and contact information (name and phone no.) before the refund deadline (based on the postmark) to OPENTIX Refund Department, No, 21-1 Zhongshan S. Road, Zhongzheng District, Taipei City 10012. Please make a record of the ticket purchase order number (e.g., 202101220000123-1) in order to track your refund status.
• Uncollected paper ticket(s) or E-ticket(s): Please visit the OPENTIX refund page and select option 2, and attach your bank passbook details. For details, please visit the OPENTIX official website.

ADMISSION GUIDELINES
1. Admission with valid ticket only. Tickets will NOT be reissued if lost or damaged.

2. If using an E-ticket, please ensure your phone has a working internet connection and sufficient battery. Activate the QR code for ticket validation and entry. Screenshots or images of the QR code taken from another device cannot be validated.

3. For feature films, short films, and XR DREAMLAND sessions, the OPENTIX website will stop selling tickets 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time, and tickets can thereafter only be purchased at on-site service counters. Special Screening ticket sale cutoff times are subject to separate guidelines.

4. For short film and feature film screenings, latecomers will NOT be admitted 20 minutes after the screening starts. For XR DREAMLAND screenings, admissions will begin 10 minutes before the screening starts and latecomers will not be admitted 5 minutes after the screening starts (certain films are subject to separate guidelines; see XR DREAMLAND Viewing Information for details) . Tickets of latecomers CANNOT be refunded or exchanged.

5. All concession ticket holders must present a valid ID at the venue. If no valid ID is presented, the concession ticket holder must pay the price difference between the concession ticket and the full priced ticket before entry is permitted.

6. GOLD+ members must possess a valid membership to purchase tickets at the discounted price. When purchasing tickets, please choose the “GOLD+ member” discount and enter your verification code (i.e., the phone no. you registered with the membership) to access the discounted price.

7. Please follow the food and beverage rules of each venue while attending.

8. For safety and to ensure evacuation routes are clear inside the theater, please refrain from lingering, standing, or sitting in the aisles or other non-seating areas.

9. In the event of natural disasters or force majeure events, the Kaohsiung Film Festival may cancel screenings based on instructions given by the Kaohsiung City Government. Updates will be posted on our official website as soon as practicable.

10. Kaohsiung Film Festival reserves all rights to change the program due to unforeseen circumstances. Latest updates will be announced on our official website as soon as possible.

FEATURE & SHORT FILM VIEWING INFORMATION
KFF Short Film Passport
1. Use your KFF Short Film Passport ticket (E-ticket or paper ticket) at the Kaohsiung Film Archive service counter to redeem your personal KFF Short Film Passport.

2. No refunds will be accepted once the KFF Short Film Passport has been redeemed. If not yet been redeemed, refunds must be requested no later than 26th Oct. (Sat). A 10% processing fee of the face value of the ticket will be deducted from the refund. Refund requests received after the deadline will not be accepted.

3. During the festival, the KFF Short Film Passport may be used for any session of the "KFF International Short Film Competition" (Taiwan Shorts, International Shorts, Children's Jury Award), Please visit the ticket counter of the screening venue 30 minutes before the session starts and present your KFF Short Film Passport to receive ONE ticket for the session. XR DREAMLAND VIEWING INFORMATION
1. As children’s eyes are still developing, G7+ rated XR DREAMLAND programs can only be viewed by children over 7 years of age and 130cm in height.

2. The program duration does not include pre-viewing instructions and equipment setup time. The experience time is approximately the length of the work plus 5-15 minutes. Please confirm relevant information or consult staff before purchasing tickets.

3. Please follow the staff instructions or the instruction video when putting on the device prior to viewing in order to avoid damaging the equipment. The viewing headsets are compatible with most glasses; contact lenses are also recommended.

4. To ensure the best viewing experience, some films do not have Chinese subtitles. The screening venue has English-Chinese dialogue translations available for reference.

5. Films may cause dizziness, nausea or other discomfort. Please assess your personal condition and health before deciding whether or not to view the film. If the Kaohsiung Film Festival has acted prudently and the viewer chooses to proceed at their own risk, the viewer shall be responsible for any resulting health consequences.

6. If you feel unwell during the viewing and cannot continue, please raise your hand to notify staff, who will help you remove the viewing device.

XR VIP Pass
1. The XR VIP Pass may only be purchased on the OPENTIX website or app. After purchasing, you may redeem for coupons which can be used to reserve tickets to your desired sessions online.

2. Starting from 12th Oct. (Sat), please visit the XR DREAMLAND VR Film Lab or the The Pier-2 Art Center Warehouse P3 service desk to redeem your personal XR VIP Pass.

3. No refunds will be accepted once the personal XR VIP Pass or coupons have been redeemed. If not yet redeemed, refunds must be requested no later than 26th Oct. (Sat).

4. How to purchase:
Access OPENTIX online ticketing platform > search for " XR VIP Pass" > click on " XR VIP Pass" > choose the Quantity to Purchase > click "Add to Cart" or "Buy Now." > Click on "Proceed to Checkout" › choose the Ticket Collection Method and than select the Payment Method > check the "Sales Contract (required)" box > click "Payment" > choose "Ticket Box" > click on "Coupon" > click "Redeem" > click "Confirm"
※After redeeming, the status of the XR VIP Pass E-ticket will be shown as “used”. Please note that no refunds will be accepted once redeemed for coupons.

5. How to redeem session tickets:
Access OPENTIX online ticketing › search for the movie name › select the movie > choose the Session/Seat > click "Add to Cart" or "Buy Now" > click on "Shopping Cart" > select "Use Coupon" > choose and check the coupon > click "Confirm" › confirm the checkout amount › click "Proceed to Checkout"> choose the Ticket Collection Methods and Payment Methods > check the "Sales Contract (required)" box > click "Payment" > the E-ticket or order (paper ticket) for the chosen movie in the "Ticket Box"
※The “Use coupon” button will appear if coupons can be used. This button will not appear if there are no coupons that can be used.
※One coupon can be used to redeem one ticket.

XR Package
1. The XR Package may only be purchased on the OPENTIX APP or the official website. After purchasing, redeem online for tickets to 2 sessions of the 360 Cinema Program and 2 sessions of the Warehouse Program.

2. Sessions cannot be changed once the package is redeemed. If not yet redeemed, refunds must be requested no later than 26th Oct. (Sat).
