For 15 years, Kaohsiung Shorts has nurtured emerging filmmakers across generations, supporting over 100 short films. This year's five selections explore personal experiences, portraying life's losses and struggles through diverse storytelling and visual styles while celebrating the resilience to keep moving forward.

Public Television Service and the Kaohsiung Film Archive reunite for their sixth annual short film collection, featuring three emerging directors. Through bold visual language, these films explore contemporary queer relationships, dissolving boundaries between reality and illusion while reimagining love beyond convention.

Curated by the Kaohsiung Film Archive, Landscape of Kaohsiung preserves the city's cultural memory through moving images. This year's work centers on survivors of the deadly Cheng Chung Cheng Building fire, revealing resilience through their memories and life stories after tragedy.
