Synopsis
In a bustling street known for its nightlife, a mutant praying mantis seduces and preys on men out of desperation to save her child.

Joe HSIEH is a Taiwanese independent animation director. His short Night Bus won the Short Film Jury Award at Sundance in 2022, while Praying Mantis became the first Taiwanese animated film selected for the Venice Film Festival’s Horizons section in 2025.
