Synopsis
Dark Rooms is a site-specific immersive installation that invites audiences into the intimate inner worlds of three real individuals. Through first-person storytelling, the work explores sexuality, identity, trauma, and transformation, revealing experiences that often remain hidden in the shadows of desire and memory.
Moving through three immersive environments, audiences encounter deeply personal narratives in a safe, guided virtual space that encourages empathy, curiosity, and reflection on intimacy, self-discovery, and the many ways we connect with ourselves and others.

Director
Laurits FLENSTED-JENSEN
Laurits Flensted-Jensen graduated from the National Film School of Denmark in 2013. His shorts "Snow" and "Melon Rainbow" premiered at IFFR, with the latter also screening at SXSW and winning Best Danish Short at Odense. His debut feature "Neon Heart" (San Sebastián 2018), "Show Dancer"(CPH:DOX 2020), and "Outlaw" (2021 Robert winner) followed.

Mads DAMSBO
Mads Damsbo is a director and creative producer exploring the intersection of cinema, performance, and immersive technology. Founder of the award-winning XR studio Makropol, he produced "End of Night," winner of Best Immersive Narrative at Venice 2021, and has created acclaimed works across film and VR.
