Synopsis
Gil learns to control his dreams with the help of his boyfriend in this shifting immersive work.
Through VR's spatial capabilities, this work creates a constantly transforming dreamscape of optical illusions, shifting environments, and visual wonders. As Gil flies, creates spaces, and forms intimate connections, he learns to transform fear into something he can confront and understand. This dreamlike journey explores the delicate balance between control and surrender in lucid dreaming, while reflecting on the meanings of escape, loss, and letting go.

Vier is a multidisciplinary artistworking across animation, painting and immersive media.
Director of Lúcido (2026) , A Mind Sang / A Mãe de Sangue (2019) and A Dança dos Fanchonos (in development). Their work plays with light, shadow and negative space to paint scenes that contain simultaneous imagery.
