Synopsis
Twenty-five-year-old influencer Elena wakes up in her room, her world blurred by the side effects of medication and fragmented memories. Confined within this enclosed space, audiences embody Elena, piece together clues step by step, and unearth a heartbreaking, cruel truth. As traumatic memories come rushing back like a tidal wave, Elena must confront her past. This time, the audience will make the choice for her: to succumb to an endless cycle of agony, or to bravely step into an unknown future.

CHANG Shan-ting
Shan-Ting Chang is an emerging XR creator and theatre designer from Taiwan. Inspired by her background in theatre, she is passionate about exploring how space, visual language, and emerging technologies can be used to shape narrative experiences. Her practice is grounded in a feminist perspective, with issues surrounding women often serving as a primary source of inspiration for her artistic work.
Sweet Dreams is her first XR project. Its prototype was shortlisted for the 2025 Innovate UK Immersive Tech Awards.
