Synopsis

In 1993, enormous planet-shaped UFOs appear over every major city in the world. The UFOs don’t attack. They don’t initiate communication. They just remain floating above every city in the world. The film starts in the year 2022, 29 years after the UFOs arrive. By now, the UFOs have become a part of ordinary life. There is a rumor going around called Alien Mind Control Syndrome which posits that some people who look like ordinary humans are actually aliens. At night, these people dream memories from their home planet. These dreams are so vivid that they consider these memories more real than their life on Earth.

Jude CHUN is a Korean Canadian director based in Seoul. His debut feature, Unidentified, screened at major festivals including Rotterdam, Singapore, and Sydney. Working across film, theater, dance, music videos, and animation, he is known for his multidisciplinary approach.
