The Children’s Jury is formed by children aged 9 through 12. Through a series of votes, discussions, and debates, they will decide the winner of the Children’s Jury Award. In this program, the children’s perspective, unrestrained creativity and infinite vitality will make the adults realize that “cute” is definitely not the only word for kids. In this fifth year of the Children’s Jury, the imagination of cinema will help these children unlock their superpower!

Kaohsiung Film Festival hosts the sole VR competition in Taiwan and is one of the biggest festival platforms in Asia to award cinematic VR experiences. From the 113 eligible submissions, 22 brilliant titles were selected for their breakthroughs in narrative, use of technology, and proficiency in immersive media. The selected works are diverse in format and showcase an amazing creative energy.
