Synopsis

During a burglary, a woman asks for help from her estranged husband, who ends up accidentally killing the thief. Overnight, the husband becomes a hero in the eyes of the public, even though he could also be responsible for involuntarily manslaughter. Was his violence to protect or to harm? As she ponders their past and future, painful old wounds are reopened…

CHUANG Shiang-an was born in 1987 and graduated from Department of Filmmaking, Taipei National University of the Arts. His short Mama Pingpong Social Club was selected to BIFAN and Palm Springs, and earned a Special Mention in the General Slate of the Golden Harvest Awards as well as two Golden Bell Award nominations.
