Shadows in the House
Synopsis
Paulo, 15, attends the assistance center run by the Evangelical Church. His alcoholic mother, Giselle, meets Valeria, a social worker evaluating her ability to care for the children. Valeria, an evangelical pastor and mother of two, urges them to join her church. Gustavo claims to have a mysterious girlfriend, "Taina."

Justine TRIET
Justine TRIET, a graduate of Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts, has directed notable films including Sur Place (2007), Solférino (2008), and Des Ombres dans la maison (2009). Her short film Two Ships (2010) won multiple awards. Her latest feature film, Anatomie d’une chute (Anatomy of a Fall), won the Palm d’Or.
