Once There Was A Sea…

Nominees and Awards

Synopsis

"Once upon a time, there was a sea...the Aral Sea, the sea that vanished. And along with the sea, seaside life and work also disappeared. Only the dead desert terrain remain here, and wrecks of huge fishing boats lying in the sand...and people who have been living on the shores of the dry port for years, dreaming of high water and longing to sail once again. This is a film about the consequences of human decisions and actions, and how they can affect the daily lives of inhabitants in one Uzbek town. "
